| How quickly do students feel at home? |
| For many students, the transition happens faster than expected. Shared advisory groups, residential life, athletics, clubs, and daily interactions help students build meaningful connections from the start. |
Because so much of campus life is shared, it often feels like family here. Students quickly find their people, discover their place, and begin to feel at home.
New students arrive on campus early, giving you plenty of time to adjust. Through activities designed specifically for incoming students, you’ll begin building friendships and confidence right away.
Our student dorm leaders help new students settle in, meet classmates, explore campus, and get comfortable navigating life on the mountain before the rest of the student body arrives. Once they do, you’ll be welcomed into a community where people are excited to get to know you.

Our Freshman Humanities Program |
| serves as a home base, with English and History classrooms located right next to each other. We mix up the class composition so students get to know each other and learn those subjects together. The curriculum emphasizes teamwork, projects, and inquiry to build a strong foundation for the next four years. |
