ARTS
Our arts programming empowers all students to discover and foster their creativity by giving them the skills and tools to develop their own personal methods of self-expression across mediums. Curricular and extracurricular options in studio art, chorus ensembles, theater, music theory, songwriting, music concerts each term, photography, ceramics, and filmmaking challenge and encourage the creativity, technique, and talents of our students.
ATHLETICS
Being a Pterodactyl is all about camaraderie, teamwork, and bringing your best. With over 20 sports and physical activities—and without an intense pressure to perform—students at all levels challenge themselves to step up their physical and mental game.
LEADERSHIP
When most Marvelwood students arrive, they don’t consider themselves leaders. Then they try something new—organizing an event with the Res Life team, running for student government, forming a new club, mentoring peers as a dorm prefect, or hosting admissions tours. In the doing, they discover hidden gifts. They realize they have something worth saying. As they take on more advanced leadership roles, something shifts. They stop asking, “Can I do this?” And start asking, “What’s next?”
