Invest in the Marvelwood Experience

For nearly seventy years, Marvelwood has been a place where students are known, challenged, and inspired to discover their potential.

That kind of education doesn’t happen by accident, but through the dedication of exceptional faculty, meaningful programs, and a community that believes deeply in our mission.

Philanthropy plays a vital role in sustaining and strengthening the Marvelwood experience. Gifts from alumni, families, and friends support the people, programs, and opportunities that shape students’ lives today while ensuring the school continues to thrive for generations to come.

“Marvelwood’s education style, small class sizes, after-school activities, community service, and most importantly the entire staff, truly brought out the best in me and helped me realize my true potential.”
– Alumnus '13

Why Support Marvelwood?

Founded in 1956, Marvelwood was created to achieve a simple but powerful vision: a small school where close relationships between faculty and students foster both academic achievement and personal growth. That vision continues to guide the school today.

Philanthropy helps bring that vision to life—supporting exceptional teachers, advancing strategic initiatives, and strengthening the programs and opportunities that shape the Marvelwood experience.

Every gift supports the people and experiences that define daily life at Marvelwood:

Exceptional faculty who mentor students both in and beyond the classroom
Signature programs in environmental science, conservation, and global citizenship
Financial assistance that expands access to a Marvelwood education
Facilities, programs, and initiatives that advance the school’s strategic vision

Together, these investments ensure that Marvelwood remains a place where students are truly known, challenged, and inspired.
