By the students, for the students
Students lead, collaborate, and build community around their interests. Our culture of camaraderie creates a safe space to try new things. In our intimate environment, your voice can be heard like never before. Whether you’re drawn to the arts, leadership, service, gaming, wellness, or outdoor adventure, you can find—or create—what inspires you.
“Trying ceramics didn’t feel like a huge, intimidating leap because it was with someone I already knew well. It wasn’t some pretentious art class. I tried it, wasn’t great at it, and that was okay. The comfort and trust here make it easier to try new things.”

Our structure is primed for students to be bold, discover new talents, grow in unexpected ways, and achieve readiness for their future. Student Government: The Heartbeat of Marvelwood
Whether you run for elected office or not, your voice matters here.
Each student has meaningful opportunities to shape the experience of school life. Those who choose to run for student government are elected by their peers as representatives who serve as a bridge between students and school leadership. They gather feedback, share ideas, and help bring to life new initiatives and activities that otherwise wouldn’t exist.
From planning traditions and events to providing input on policies, schedules, and campus life, student leaders help ensure that the student experience reflects the needs and perspectives of the community. Their work—and their enthusiasm—strengthens a culture where every individual is encouraged, not only to participate, but to make a difference.

Clubs and activities also shape some of Marvelwood’s most beloved experiences, like Music on the Mountain—an open-mic event that showcases student and faculty performances six times throughout the year. These moments bring our community together and give students a chance to celebrate culture, creativity, and connection. |
