VISIT
The best way to learn about Marvelwood is to experience it firsthand. We offer individual tours throughout the school year and three preview days in the fall.
TOURS
Campus tours are available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 10 am or 1 pm. Other times may be arranged by emailing the admission office at admission@marvelwood.org.
PREVIEW DAYS
Experience with "First Saturdays" At Marvelwood! Create your own Marvelwood experience by attending one of our Fall Preview Days on the first Saturday of each month. Please join us on December 7 for an opportunity to attend classes of your choice and talk with students and faculty about what matters most to you. Parents can tour the campus and chat with our Head of School, faculty, and students. See why Marvelwood might be the perfect fit for you and your family!

APPLY
Apply online with SSAT's Standard Application Online (SAO).
A complete application consists of:
- Parent Statement
- Student Statement
- Teacher Recommendations (Math, English, and either an advisor, principal or guidance counselor)
- Student Interview (In person or virtually; email us to schedule a convenient time.)
- 2 Years of grade, transcripts or school reports, including the current year.
- A graded essay.
- Any other supporting documentation that is relevant to your child's education, such as educational evaluations.
Once your application is complete, our admission committee will conduct a holistic review. Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis.
Application review for the 2026-2027 school year will begin after December 1, 2025.
TESTING
Domestic Applicants:
Marvelwood is test-optional. Applicants to grades 9, 10 or 11 may submit either SSAT or PSAT scores. Applicants to grade 12 or for a post-graduate (PG) year may submit SAT scores.
International Applicants:
All students for whom English is not a first language are required to submit scores from the SSAT, Duolingo, or the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).
