We are proud to present Marvelwood School’s Annual Report on Giving. On this website, you will find the names of our generous donors from the 2021-2022 school year.
We thank each of you for your gift to Marvelwood. As a community, our strength lies in the fact that our tireless dedication to providing unsurpassed support for our students is mirrored by ongoing support from our alumni, parents, and friends. Each student will take their own journey through their education, and whether it leads them to the robotics lab, to the ornithology trails, or to the stage, they never go alone. Your generosity ensures that no matter what path our students take, they will find the support and guidance to help them shape their vision and achieve their goals.
As the school emerges from the challenges presented by the pandemic and embarks on strategic planning, looking ahead with excitement to the challenges of the future, we also gratefully acknowledge the many accomplishments of the past few years. The renovation and dedication of the Sundt House for Admission & Advancement, the refurbishment of the Performing Arts Center, and creation of the McAllister Film & Photography Building were all made possible by the generosity of our donors. Funds raised for technology upgrades and wellness initiatives broke Day of Giving records in both 2020 and 2021. Parent participation in the Annual Fund has risen over 40%, Board giving is up 15%, and employee giving has hit 100% for the past two years. Perhaps most impressively, at the start of the 2021-2022 fiscal year, Marvelwood’s endowment stood at approximately $6.3 million, an increase of over $3.5 million since 2018. Our foundation is strong, and our vision is clear: Marvelwood is a school on the move, focused on remaining nimble, modern, and relevant in today’s rapidly-changing educational environment while staying true to our time-tested mission to provide a personalized educational experience that transforms the lives of our students. We believe nobody does it better, and your continuing support reflects in turn your belief in us and in our purpose. We are deeply grateful for your confidence.

Marvelwood expanded our social and emotional supports for students by partnering with Greenwoods Counseling Services to offer additional resources and hiring additional staff for our Connections program.
Wellness Curriculum
Wellness Curriculum
Youth mental health training, mindfulness class exercises, an emphasis on daily exercise, outdoor challenges, and even goat yoga provide our students an opportunity for healthy engagement and meaningful self-reflection.
