Helping Hands

This week, when the Pterodactyl Times went to interview the members of Helping Hands community service group, what we found was a group of students who missed what they did last year but are still excited about what they have been able to achieve this year. Within the group, there is a sense of love, care, and compassion.

You may be wondering what Helping Hands does.  Each week during community service, they do things to bring help and joy to others, including making mats out of ‘plarn’ (plastic yarn) for the homeless. Last year, they especially enjoyed making meals for the Town of Kent’s senior citizens. Every Saturday, you can find the group in Rooms 3 & 4, alongside their teacher Ms. Love.
