Marvelwood and Watkinson teams played a very strong match for first game of the season for both clubs. Fighting against a cruel wind both teams struggled at first getting used to the game conditions. Marvelwood went into halftime with a score of 7-8 in favor of Wakinson. Marvelwood continued to fight strong till the end of the game, coming up short by the score of 12-15. We are looking forward to the possibility of a very strong season. Everyone played extremely hard on both sides of the field with some incredible offensive and defensive plays. - Coach Baker
