Boys JV Basketball Defeated By Tough Forman Team

On Friday, February 12^th the Marvelwood Boys JV Basketball team hosted Forman School.  After a great first 8 minutes in which our team passed the ball well and played solid defense, we fell behind by 10 point at the half.  Unfortunately, our composure fell apart during the second half and we struggled to hit our shots.  In our attempt to score quickly, we allowed some easy baskets on defense and eventually lost 50 to 32.

Kevin Bogucki ’11 scored 13 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and had 5 steals.  Qigao Wang ’11 played well with 6 points, 11 rebounds, and assist and a steal.  Bowen Luo ’10 also had a great game with 6 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 assists.  Kao-Ting Hsu ‘12 scored 3 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.  Zian Xu ’10 scored 2 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and had a steal.  Tyler Knowles ’10 scored 2 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and had an assist.  Our team is now 4-6 overall with our next game against Woodhall at home on Wednesday. - Coach Mason
