Marvelwood is pleased to announce that Joe Klein 'P09 will give the commencement address at the School's 50th graduation exercises on May 31, 2008.

 

Mr. Klein is a senior writer for TIME magazine and a best-selling author.  He has written articles and book reviews for The New Yorker, The New Republic, The New York Times, The Washintgon post, LIFE, Rolling Stone and other publications.  He anonymously authored the critically-acclaimed novel Primary Colors, a best-seller inspired by the 1992 presidential race.  He also frequently appears as an analyst ona variety of television shows such as "Meet the Press" and MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

 

Mr. Klein graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in American civilization.  He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and is a fomer Guggenheim fellow.  He and his family live in Westchester County, New York.
