Marvelwood's Bodkin Library is a vast yet warm and welcoming space overlooking the magnificent Litchfield Hills. Book stacks, large working spaces, and a computer workstation provide plenty of space for independent or collaborative study.
The Bodkin Library houses a collection of 7000 print resources, primarily reference volumes, with a vibrant collection of fiction and non-fiction publications.
The Bodkin Library Catalog is called Researcher and can be accessed by any computer with Internet access via Alexandria. More than half the books in the library are in the catalog, with more being added each week. If students don't find the book they're looking for in the catalog, Mrs. Hastings and Mrs. Goodearl can help!
The Bodkin Library is a member of the Connecticut State Library system, allowing members of the Marvelwood community borrowing privileges from all participating state libraries. Titles appearing as unavailable through The Bodkin Library but available through other libraries in the state can be requested with one click.
Computers, wireless internet access and printers are available.
