Following the conclusion of the Academic and Leadership Program, students are invited to attend a two-week session at Ebner Camps (
www.ebnercamps.com) in nearby Litchfield, Connecticut.
Our students receive a 15% discount off of the regular tuition for this two-week camp session.
Ebner Camps offer an exciting schedule of traditional camp sports, games and activities, as well as a wide variety of special programs and activities including drama, environmental science, ropes courses, music and dance, go-karts and mini-bikes, sailing, fencing, ceramics, martial arts, woodworking, water skiing, photography and computers. Horseback riding and academic tutoring are also available for an additional fee.
Campers at Ebner Camps have the unique opportunity to meet and interact with young people from all over the world. In recent years, campers and staff members have come from over twenty different foreign countries, including England, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Spain, South Africa, Japan, Venezuela, France and Mexico.
Ebner Camps feature separate campuses for boys and girls. Camp Chinqueka for girls is located on Mt. Tom Lake. Camp Awosting for boys is located just a few miles away on Bantam Lake, and has the distinction of being the oldest continually-operated private boys' camp in the United States. Both camps are accredited by the American Camping Association.
Transportation between Ebner Camps and Marvelwood is provided free of charge by the School.
Cost: $1,691.50 + a $45 camp store deposit
This special offer applies for the August 9th-22nd, 2009 session only and is available to American students 16 years old or younger and international students 17 years old or younger.
