Welcome!
The Marvelwood School's Summer Programs provide opportunities for students to achieve success in a secure, supportive and challenging environment. Our curriculum is challenging at all levels, with small classes that both enable and require participation and expectations which are tailored to each participant's needs and goals.
We offer two programs:
Our mission is to help students achieve academic success and increase their academic and personal confidence. Creative classroom instruction, independent projects, real-world experiences and goal-oriented afternoon activities give participants a variety of opportunities to demonstrate their talents, nurture their potential, and appreciate the value of their studies. Marvelwood Summer program participants return to their home schools with a strong sense of accomplishment, a wealth of strategies for continued success, and a renewed sense of confidence in themselves and their abilities.

About Marvelwood
The 83-acre Marvelwood campus sits atop Skiff Mountain, in the foothills of the Berkshires, and is surrounded by thousands of acres of protected woodland. Our rural location provides an environment perfectly suited for focused academic effort amid a great variety of natural resources. Hiking trails, ponds, wetlands, rock faces and wildlife are in great abundance, making our setting ideal for outdoor adventure and scientific exploration. The town of Kent, located at the foot of the mountain along the banks of the Housatonic River, offers unique shops, art galleries, a variety of restaurants, and lodging.
We hope to see you this summer!
